Más allá de ese concepto burdo de la forma hay un concepto sutil, que carece de figura definida y es invisible, inaudible y no manifiesto. El ser viviente tiene su forma más allá de esa sutileza, pues de no ser así no podría tener repetidos nacimientos.
Beyond this gross conception of form is another, subtle conception of form which is without formal shape and is unseen, unheard and unmanifest. The living being has his form beyond this subtlety, otherwise he could not have repeated births.

Así como la manifestación cósmica burda se concibe como el gigantesco cuerpo del Señor, así mismo existe el concepto de Su forma sutil, la cual simplemente se llega a comprender sin ser vista, oída ni manifestada. Pero, de hecho, todos esos conceptos burdos o sutiles del cuerpo están en relación con los seres vivientes. El ser viviente tiene su forma espiritual más allá de esta existencia material burda o de la existencia psíquica sutil. Tan pronto como el ser viviente abandona el burdo cuerpo visible, este último y las funciones psíquicas dejan de actuar. En efecto, decimos que el ser viviente se ha ido, debido a que no se ve ni se oye. Incluso cuando el cuerpo burdo no está actuando, mientras el ser viviente está profundamente dormido, por su respiración sabemos que está dentro del cuerpo. De manera que el hecho de que el ser viviente deje el cuerpo, no significa que el alma viviente no existe. Está ahí, o si no ¿cómo podría repetir sus nacimientos una y otra vez?
As the gross cosmic manifestation is conceived as the gigantic body of the Lord, so also there is the conception of His subtle form, which is simply realized without being seen, heard or manifested. But in fact all these gross or subtle conceptions of the body are in relation with the living beings. The living being has his spiritual form beyond this gross material or subtle psychic existence. The gross body and psychic functions cease to act as soon as the living being leaves the visible gross body. In fact, we say that the living being has gone away because he is unseen and unheard. Even when the gross body is not acting when the living being is in sound sleep, we know that he is within the body by his breathing. So the living being’s passing away from the body does not mean that there is no existence of the living soul. It is there, otherwise how can he repeat his births again and again?
Se concluye, entonces, que el Señor existe eternamente en Su forma trascendental, que no es burda ni sutil, como la del ser viviente; Su cuerpo nunca debe compararse con los cuerpos burdos y sutiles del ser viviente. Todos esos conceptos del cuerpo de Dios son imaginarios. El ser viviente tiene su forma espiritual eterna, que queda condicionada únicamente por su contaminación material.
The conclusion is that the Lord is eternally existent in His transcendental form, which is neither gross nor subtle like that of the living being; His body is never to be compared to the gross and subtle bodies of the living being. All such conceptions of God’s body are imaginary. The living being has his eternal spiritual form, which is conditioned only by his material contamination.
