Traducción

Translation

Mahārāja Parīkṣit consideró que los hombres poco inteligentes puede que creyeren que la personalidad de Kali era muy poderosa, pero que aquellos que eran autocontrolados no tendrían nada que temer. El rey era tan poderoso como un tigre, y cuidó de las personas tontas y negligentes.

Mahārāja Parīkṣit considered that less intelligent men might find the personality of Kali to be very powerful, but that those who are self-controlled would have nothing to fear. The King was powerful like a tiger and took care for the foolish, careless persons.

Significado

Purport

Aquellos que no son devotos del Señor, son descuidados y poco inteligentes. A menos que uno sea sumamente inteligente, no puede ser devoto del Señor. Aquellos que no son devotos del Señor son presa de las acciones de Kali. No va a ser posible crear una situación más sana en la sociedad, a menos que estemos dispuestos a aceptar los medios de acción adoptados por Mahārāja Parīkṣit, es decir, la propagación del servicio devocional del Señor entre la gente común.

Those who are not devotees of the Lord are careless and unintelligent. Unless one is thoroughly intelligent, one cannot be a devotee of the Lord. Those who are not devotees of the Lord fall prey to the actions of Kali. It will not be possible to bring about a saner condition in society unless we are prepared to accept the modes of action adopted by Mahārāja Parīkṣit, i.e., propagation of the devotional service of the Lord to the common man.
