Text Twenty-Eight
Después de la estación lluviosa, todo el hermoso paisaje era atractivo a los ojos de todos, incluso a los de Śrī Kṛṣṇa, la causa de todas las causas.
28. The fully beautiful scenery after the rainy season was attractive to the eyes of everyone, including Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the cause of all causes.
Debemos apreciar siempre la energía creadora del Señor Supremo. La hermosa naturaleza, aunque material y por lo tanto temporal, está siempre llena de las glorias del creador. Existe una clase de filósofos que condena a la creación material como falsa. Dicen que Brahman es verdad, pero que la creación es falsa. Esto no está bien. La creación temporal también es una verdad relativa. Es de hecho la representación temporal de la creación eterna. El alma olvidadiza no tiene información de la creación espiritual conocida como Sanātana Dhāma, pero la creación temporal nos da una idea de esta creación original por eso al utilizar la creación temporal en el servicio del Señor, los devotos hacen el mejor uso de un mal negocio.
We should always appreciate the creative energy of the Supreme Lord. Beautiful nature, even though material and therefore temporary, is always full of the glories of the creator. There is a class of philosophers who condemn the material creation as false. They say that Brahman is truth but the creation is false. This is not good. The temporary creation is also a relative truth. It is in fact the temporary picture of the eternal creation. The forgetful soul has no information of the spiritual creation, known as the sanātana-dhāma, but the temporary creation gives an idea of this original creation. The devotees of the Lord, therefore, make the best use of the bad bargain by utilizing the temporary creation in the service of the Lord.
Todo emana del Señor como diferentes energías y por lo tanto todo debe ser ocupado únicamente en Su servicio. Tan pronto como las cosas temporales son utilizadas en Su servicio asumen valores permanentes. El proceso de tal ocupación al servicio del Señor es lo que los sabios llaman cikitsitam o "bien tratado". Si tenemos algún tipo de problema en el estómago por beber leche, el médico prescribe esta misma leche en forma de yogur que no es sino leche tratada. Similarmente, la creación temporal del mundo material, indudablemente esta llena de miserias, pero al ser aceptada su relación con el Señor Supremo se vuelve "bien tratada" como el yogur. Cualquier cosa aceptada con plena conciencia de Dios tiene su valor espiritual y por la gracia del Todopoderoso, sus efectos materiales disminuyen en relación con el creciente grado de conciencia espiritual. Ese es el proceso para cultivar el espíritu humano.
Everything emanates as different energies from the Lord, and thus everything should be engaged for His service only. As soon as even temporary things are engaged in His service, they take on permanent values. The process of such engagement in the service of the Lord is what the sages call cikitsitam, or "well treated." If we have some kind of trouble in the stomach from drinking milk, the physician prescribes the same milk in the form of yogurt, which is nothing but treated milk. Similarly, the temporary creation of the material world is undoubtedly full of miseries, but when accepted in terms of its relation with the Supreme Lord, the whole thing becomes as well treated as the yogurt. Everything accepted in full God consciousness has its spiritual value, and by the grace of the Almighty its material effects are diminished in terms of the increasing degree of spiritual consciousness. That is the process for cultivating the human spirit.
