Translation

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu derrotó a todos los especuladores mentales y sabios eruditos, y cuando la gente empezó a reír, los filósofos budistas sintieron vergüenza y miedo al mismo tiempo.

All mental speculators and learned scholars were defeated by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and when the people began to laugh, the Buddhist philosophers felt both shame and fear.

Significado

Purport

Todos aquellos filósofos eran ateos, pues no creían en la existencia de Dios. Los ateos tal vez sean muy expertos en la especulación mental, y supuestamente pueden ser grandes filósofos, pero un vaiṣṇava firmemente establecido en su convicción y consciente de Dios, puede derrotarles. Siguiendo los pasos de Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, todos los predicadores ocupados en el servicio del movimiento para la conciencia de Kṛṣṇa deben ser muy expertos en presentar fuertes argumentos que derroten a todo tipo de ateos.

These philosophers were all atheists, for they did not believe in the existence of God. Atheists may be very expert in mental speculation and may be so-called great philosophers, but they can be defeated by a Vaiṣṇava firmly situated in his conviction and God consciousness. Following in the footsteps of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, all the preachers engaged in the service of ISKCON should be very expert in putting forward strong arguments and defeating all types of atheists.
