Translation

Cuando Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu danzaba y cantaba lleno de amor extático, todos los asistentes y sacerdotes fueron a ofrecerle un collar de flores y los remanentes de la comida del Señor Jagannātha.

In ecstatic love Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu danced and chanted. At that time all the attendants and priests came to offer Him a garland and the remnants of Lord Jagannātha’s food.

Significado

Purport

Los sacerdotes que se ocupan en el servicio del Señor Jagannātha reciben el nombre de pāṇḍās o paṇḍitas, y son brāhmaṇas. Los pālas son los asistentes encargados de los asuntos externos del templo. Sacerdotes y asistentes fueron juntos a ver a Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

Those who are priests engaged in Lord Jagannātha’s service are called pāṇḍās or paṇḍitas, and they are brāhmaṇas. The attendants who look after the temple’s external affairs are called pālas. The priests and attendants went together to see Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
