Translation

Al cabo de un tiempo, el Señor abrazaba a esas personas y les pedía que volviesen a sus hogares, tras haber investido a cada uno de ellos con potencia espiritual.

After some time the Lord would embrace these people and bid them return home, having invested each of them with spiritual potency.

Significado

Purport

En su Amṛta-pravāha-bhāṣya, Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura explica que esa potencia espiritual es la esencia de las potencias de placer y de conocimiento. Esas dos potencias nos dotan del poder del servicio devocional. El Señor Kṛṣṇa mismo, o Su representante, el devoto puro, pueden, por Su misericordia, otorgar esas potencias combinadas a cualquier persona. Así dotada con esas potencias, puede volverse un devoto puro del Señor. Todo el que recibió la misericordia del Señor Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu recibió ese poder, bhakti-śakti. Así, en virtud de la gracia divina, los seguidores del Señor podían predicar el proceso de conciencia de Kṛṣṇa.

In his Amṛta-pravāha-bhāṣya, Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura explains that this spiritual potency is the essence of the pleasure potency and the knowledge potency. By these two potencies, one is empowered with devotional service. Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself or His representative, the unalloyed devotee, can mercifully bestow these combined potencies upon any man. Being thus endowed with such potencies, one can become an unalloyed devotee of the Lord. Anyone favored by Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was empowered with this bhakti-śakti. Thus the Lord’s followers were able to preach Kṛṣṇa consciousness by divine grace.
