Traducción

Translation

«No hay diferencia entre el cuerpo de Gopīnātha y el Mío. Son uno solo. Por lo tanto, si unges el cuerpo de Gopīnātha con la pasta de sándalo, de forma natural también habrás ungido el Mío. De ese modo, la temperatura de Mi cuerpo bajará.»

“There is no difference between My body and Gopīnātha’s body. They are one and the same. Therefore if you smear the sandalwood pulp on the body of Gopīnātha, you will naturally also smear it on My body. Thus the temperature of My body will be reduced.

Purport

Gopāla estaba en Vṛndāvana, muy lejos de Remuṇā. En aquellos días, había que cruzar provincias gobernadas por musulmanes, que a veces ponían trabas a los viajeros. Considerando el problema de Su devoto, el Señor Gopāla, el más grande bienqueriente de Sus devotos, ordenó a Mādhavendra Purī que aplicase la pasta de sándalo al cuerpo de Gopīnātha, que no era diferente del cuerpo de Gopāla. De ese modo, el Señor evitó a Mādhavendra Purī muchos problemas e inconvenientes.

Gopāla was situated in Vṛndāvana, which was far from Remuṇā. In those days, one had to pass through provinces governed by the Muslims, who sometimes hindered travelers. Considering the trouble of His devotee, Lord Gopāla, the greatest well-wisher of His devotees, ordered Mādhavendra Purī to smear the sandalwood pulp on the body of Gopīnātha, which was nondifferent from the body of Gopāla. In this way the Lord relieved Mādhavendra Purī from trouble and inconvenience.
