Traducción

Translation

«Kṛṣṇa sube a la cuadriga de la mente de las gopīs, otorgándoles así Su favor, y, como Cupido, atrae sus mentes para recibir su servicio amoroso. Por eso, Él se llama también Madana-mohana, el que atrae a Cupido. Cupido tiene cinco flechas, que representan la forma, el sabor, el olor, el sonido y el tacto. Kṛṣṇa es el propietario de las cinco flechas, y con Su belleza de Cupido, conquista la mente de las gopīs, a pesar de lo muy orgullosas que están de su propia belleza extraordinaria. Actuando como un nuevo Cupido, Kṛṣṇa atrae sus mentes y las ocupa en la danza rāsa.

“Favoring the gopīs, Kṛṣṇa rides on the chariots of their minds, and just to receive loving service from them, He attracts their minds like Cupid. Therefore He is also called Madana-mohana, the attractor of Cupid. Cupid has five arrows, representing form, taste, smell, sound and touch. Kṛṣṇa is the owner of these five arrows, and with His Cupid-like beauty He conquers the minds of the gopīs, though they are very proud of their superexcellent beauty. Becoming a new Cupid, Kṛṣṇa attracts their minds and engages in the rāsa dance.
