Translation

De ese modo, Sanātana Gosvāmī convenció al carcelero, que le contestó: «Mi querido señor, por favor, escúchame. Yo deseo dejarte ir, pero siento mucho miedo del gobierno».

In this way Sanātana Gosvāmī convinced the jailkeeper, who replied, “Please hear me, my dear sir. I am willing to release you, but I am afraid of the government.”
