Translation

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu llegó finalmente a Prayāga, y durante diez días seguidos Se bañó en la confluencia de los ríos Yamunā y Ganges durante el festival de Makara-saṅkrānti [Māgha-melā].

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu finally arrived at Prayāga and for ten successive days bathed in the confluence of the rivers Yamunā and Ganges during the festival of Makara-saṅkrānti [Māgha-melā].

Significado

Purport

En realidad, la palabra triveṇī se refiere a la confluencia de tres ríos: el Ganges, el Yamunā y el Sarasvatī. En la actualidad, el río Sarasvatī no es visible, pero el Ganges y el Yamunā se unen en Allahabad.

Actually the word triveṇī indicates the confluence of three rivers — namely the Ganges, Yamunā and Sarasvatī. Presently the Sarasvatī River is not visible, but the river Ganges and the river Yamunā merge at Allahabad.
