prāṇa-nātha, śuna mora satya nivedana
vraja — āmāra sadana, tāhāṅ tomāra saṅgama,
nā pāile nā rahe jīvana

Traducción

Translation

«“Mi querido Señor, ten la bondad de escuchar lo que con toda sinceridad Te presento. Mi hogar es Vṛndāvana, y deseo estar allí contigo. Si no lo consigo, Me será muy difícil seguir viviendo.

“My dear Lord, kindly hear My true submission. My home is Vṛndāvana, and I wish Your association there. But if I do not get it, then it will be very difficult for Me to keep My life.

Significado

Purport

La compañía de la Suprema Personalidad de Dios sólo se desea cuando la mente está libre de falsas identificaciones. La mente debe tener alguna ocupación. Una persona que aspire a liberarse de lo material no puede tener la mente vacía; debe tener cosas sobre las que pensar, sentir y desear. La mente, mientras no esté llena de pensamientos de Kṛṣṇa, sentimientos orientados hacia Kṛṣṇa y deseo de servir a Kṛṣṇa, estará llena de actividades materiales. Quienes han abandonado las actividades materiales y han dejado de pensar en ellas, deben siempre mantener el deseo de pensar en Kṛṣṇa. Sin Kṛṣṇa, no se puede vivir, del mismo modo que una persona no puede vivir si no tienen algún disfrute para su mente.

Only when the mind is free from designations can one desire the association of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The mind must have some occupation. If a person is to be free of material things, his mind cannot be vacant; there must be subject matters for thinking, feeling and willing. Unless one’s mind is filled with thoughts of Kṛṣṇa, feelings for Kṛṣṇa and a desire to serve Kṛṣṇa, the mind will be filled with material activities. Those who have given up all material activities and have ceased thinking of them should always retain the ambition to think of Kṛṣṇa. Without Kṛṣṇa, one cannot live, just as a person cannot live without some enjoyment for his mind.
