Translation

Algunos vaiṣṇavas tienen costumbre de pedir de los puestos de caridad pública y comen lo que allí les dan, mientras que otros se paran de noche ante la puerta Siṁha-dvāra, y piden limosna a los sirvientes.

It is a custom for some Vaiṣṇavas to beg from the charity booths and eat whatever they obtain, whereas others stand at night at the Siṁha-dvāra gate, begging alms from the servants.
