e-saba — tomāra kuṭināṭi, chāḍa ei paripāṭī,
veṇu-dvāre kāṅhe hara’ prāṇa
āpanāra hāsi lāgi’, naha nārīra vadha-bhāgī,
deha’ nijādharāmṛta-dāna”

Traducción

Translation

«Así pues, Mi querido Kṛṣṇa, abandona por favor todas esas estratagemas tan hábilmente tramadas. No trates de acabar con la vida de las gopīs con el sonido de Tu flauta. Con Tus bromas y Tus risas, estás siendo responsable de la muerte de muchas mujeres. Mejor harías en satisfacernos, dándonos la caridad del néctar de Tus labios.»

“Therefore, My dear Kṛṣṇa, please give up all the tricks You have set up so expertly. Do not try to kill the life of the gopīs with the vibration of Your flute. Because of Your joking and laughing, You are becoming responsible for the killing of women. It would be better for You to satisfy us by giving us the charity of the nectar of Your lips.”
