cūta-priyāla-panasāsana-kovidāra-
jambv-arka-bilva-bakulāmra-kadamba-nīpāḥ
ye ’nye parārtha-bhavakā yamunopakūlāḥ
śaṁsantu kṛṣṇa-padavīṁ rahitātmanāṁ naḥ

Translation

«[Las gopīs decían:] “¡Oh, árboles cūta, priyāla, panasa, āsana y kovidāra! ¡oh, árboles jambu, arka, bel, bakula y mango!, ¡oh, árboles kadamba y nīpa y todos los demás árboles que vivís a orillas del Yamunā para el bien de los demás!, por favor, decidnos dónde ha ido Kṛṣṇa. Hemos perdido la mente y estamos prácticamente muertas.

“[The gopīs said:] ‘O cūta tree, priyāla tree, panasa, āsana and kovidāra! O jambu tree, O arka tree, O bel, bakula and mango! O kadamba tree, O nīpa tree and all other trees living on the bank of the Yamunā for the welfare of others, please let us know where Kṛṣṇa has gone. We have lost our minds and are almost dead.
