Al igual que una gran higuera se llena toda ella de frutos, cada parte del árbol del servicio devocional dio fruto.

As a big fig tree bears fruits all over its body, each part of the tree of devotional service bore fruit.

Purport

Este árbol del servicio devocional no es de este mundo material. Crece en el mundo espiritual, donde no hay diferencia entre una parte del cuerpo y otra. Es algo parecido a un árbol de azúcar, que por donde se le pruebe, siempre está dulce. El árbol del bhakti tiene gran variedad de ramas, hojas y frutos, pero todos están destinados al servicio de la Suprema Personalidad de Dios. Hay nueve procedimientos diferentes de servicio devocional (śravaṇaṁ kīrtanaṁ viṣṇoḥ smaraṇaṁ pāda-sevanam arcanaṁ vandanaṁ dāsyaṁ sakhyam ātmanivedanam), pero el único propósito de todos ellos es el servicio al Señor Supremo. This tree of devotional service is not of this material world. It grows in the spiritual world, where there is no distinction between one part of the body and another. It is something like a tree of sugar, for whichever part of such a tree one tastes, it is always sweet. The tree of bhakti has varieties of branches, leaves and fruits, but they are all meant for the service of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. There are nine different processes of devotional service (śravaṇaṁ kīrtanaṁ viṣṇoḥ smaraṇaṁ pāda-sevanam arcanaṁ vandanaṁ dāsyaṁ sakhyam ātma-nivedanam), but all of them are meant only for the service of the Supreme Lord. Therefore whether one hears, chants, remembers or worships, his activities will yield the same result. Which one of these processes will be the most suitable for a particular devotee depends upon his taste.
