yad yad ācarati śreṣṭhas
tat tad evetaro janaḥ
sa yat pramāṇaṁ kurute
lokas tad anuvartate

Traducción

Translation

«“Los hombres comunes siguen los pasos de un gran hombre, sea cual fuere la acción que éste ejecute. Y cualesquiera que sean las pautas que él establezca mediante actos ejemplares, el mundo entero las sigue.”

“ ‘Whatever actions a great man performs, common people follow. And whatever standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues.’
