Purport

Śubhānanda, que en el pasado había vivido en Vṛndāvana como Mālatī, fue uno de los ejecutantes de kīrtana que danzaban ante el carro de Ratha-yātrā durante el festival de Jagannātha. Se dice que comía la espuma que salía de la boca del Señor mientras bailaba ante el carro de Ratha-yātrā. Īśāna era el sirviente personal de Śrīmatī Śacīdevī, quien derramó su gran misericordia hacia él. También era muy querido por Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

Śubhānanda, who formerly lived in Vṛndāvana as Mālatī, was one of the kīrtana performers who danced in front of the Ratha-yātrā car during the Jagannātha festival. It is said that he ate the foam that came out of the mouth of the Lord while He danced before the Ratha-yātrā car. Īśāna was the personal servant of Śrīmatī Śacīdevī, who showered her great mercy upon him. He was also very dear to Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
