api ced asi pāpebhyaḥ
sarvebhyaḥ pāpa-kṛt-tamaḥ
sarvaṁ jñāna-plavenaiva
vṛjinaṁ santariṣyasi

Translation

Aun cuando se te considere el más pecador de todos los pecadores, cuando te sitúes en el bote del conocimiento trascendental serás capaz de cruzar el océano de los sufrimientos.

Even if you are considered to be the most sinful of all sinners, when you are situated in the boat of transcendental knowledge you will be able to cross over the ocean of miseries.

Purport

La debida comprensión acerca de la posición constitucional de uno en relación con Kṛṣṇa es tan perfecta, que de inmediato puede sacarlo a uno de la lucha por la existencia que se lleva a cabo en el océano de la nesciencia. Este mundo material se considera a veces que es como un océano de nesciencia, y a veces, como un bosque en llamas. En el océano, por muy experto nadador que uno sea, la lucha por la existencia es muy severa. Si alguien se presenta y saca del océano al desesperado nadador, se vuelve el salvador más grande de todos. El conocimiento perfecto que se recibe proveniente de la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, constituye el sendero de la liberación. El bote del proceso de conciencia de Kṛṣṇa es muy sencillo, pero al mismo tiempo es el más sublime que existe.

Proper understanding of one’s constitutional position in relationship to Kṛṣṇa is so nice that it can at once lift one from the struggle for existence which goes on in the ocean of nescience. This material world is sometimes regarded as an ocean of nescience and sometimes as a blazing forest. In the ocean, however expert a swimmer one may be, the struggle for existence is very severe. If someone comes forward and lifts the struggling swimmer from the ocean, he is the greatest savior. Perfect knowledge, received from the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is the path of liberation. The boat of Kṛṣṇa consciousness is very simple, but at the same time the most sublime.
