ya evaṁ vetti puruṣaṁ
prakṛtiṁ ca guṇaiḥ saha
sarvathā vartamāno ’pi
na sa bhūyo ’bhijāyate

Translation

Aquel que entienda esta filosofía relativa a la naturaleza material, la entidad viviente y la interacción de las modalidades de la naturaleza, es seguro que logra la liberación. Él no nacerá aquí de nuevo, sea cual fuere su posición actual.

One who understands this philosophy concerning material nature, the living entity and the interaction of the modes of nature is sure to attain liberation. He will not take birth here again, regardless of his present position.

El tener una clara comprensión de la naturaleza material, la Superalma, el alma individual y la correlación que hay entre ellas, lo vuelve a uno merecedor de liberarse y volverse hacia la atmósfera espiritual, sin estar forzado a regresar a esta naturaleza material. Ese es el resultado del conocimiento. El propósito del conocimiento es el de entender con claridad que la entidad viviente ha caído en esta existencia material por casualidad. Mediante su esfuerzo personal, realizado en compañía de autoridades, de personas santas y de un maestro espiritual, tiene que entender su posición, y luego volver al estado de conciencia espiritual o conciencia de Kṛṣṇa mediante la comprensión del Bhagavad-gītā tal como lo explica la Personalidad de Dios. En ese caso es seguro que jamás vendrá de nuevo a esta existencia material; ella será trasladada al mundo espiritual, para una vida eterna y bienaventurada de conocimiento.

Clear understanding of material nature, the Supersoul, the individual soul and their interrelation makes one eligible to become liberated and turn to the spiritual atmosphere without being forced to return to this material nature. This is the result of knowledge. The purpose of knowledge is to understand distinctly that the living entity has by chance fallen into this material existence. By his personal endeavor in association with authorities, saintly persons and a spiritual master, he has to understand his position and then revert to spiritual consciousness or Kṛṣṇa consciousness by understanding Bhagavad-gītā as it is explained by the Personality of Godhead. Then it is certain that he will never come again into this material existence; he will be transferred into the spiritual world for a blissful eternal life of knowledge.
