Translation

Traducción

It is sometimes argued that the sons of King Sagara were burned to ashes by the fire emanating from the eyes of Kapila Muni. This statement, however, is not approved by great learned persons, for Kapila Muni’s body is completely in the mode of goodness and therefore cannot manifest the mode of ignorance in the form of anger, just as the pure sky cannot be polluted by the dust of the earth.

A veces se argumenta que los hijos del rey Sagara fueron quemados por el fuego que emanó de los ojos de Kapila Muni. Esa afirmación, sin embargo, no cuenta con la aprobación de los grandes eruditos, pues el cuerpo de Kapila Muni se halla plenamente bajo la influencia de la modalidad de la bondad, de modo que no puede manifestar la modalidad de la ignorancia en forma de ira, del mismo modo que el cielo puro no puede ser contaminado por el polvo de la tierra.
