Translation

Traducción

Purañjaya agreed to kill all the demons, on the condition that Indra would be his carrier. Because of pride, Indra could not accept this proposal, but later, by the order of the Supreme Lord, Viṣṇu, Indra did accept it and became a great bull carrier for Purañjaya.

Purañjaya estuvo de acuerdo en matar a los demonios, pero con la condición de que Indra fuese su montura. Indra, sin embargo, era orgulloso y no podía aceptar esa condición. Solo más tarde, cuando Viṣṇu, el Señor Supremo, se lo ordenó, aceptó transformarse en un enorme toro y sirvió de cabalgadura a Purañjaya.
