Translation
Traducción
When King Gādhi made this demand, the great sage Ṛcīka could understand the King’s mind. Therefore he went to the demigod Varuṇa and brought from him the one thousand horses that Gādhi had demanded. After delivering these horses, the sage married the King’s beautiful daughter.
Cuando el rey Gādhi puso esa condición, el gran sabio Ṛcīka entendió lo que el rey tenía en mente. Acto seguido, fue a ver al semidiós Varuṇa y obtuvo los mil caballos que Gādhi había pedido. Tras entregar los caballos al rey, el sabio se casó con su hermosa hija.
