Traducción
Urvaśī treated the two lambs like her own sons. Therefore, when they were being taken by the Gandharvas and began crying, Urvaśī heard them and rebuked her husband. “Now I am being killed,” she said, “under the protection of an unworthy husband, who is a coward and a eunuch although he thinks himself a great hero.”
Urvaśī trataba a los corderitos como a sus propios hijos. Por eso, al escuchar su llanto de angustia mientras los gandharvas los robaban, Urvaśī se dirigió a su esposo con palabras ásperas: «Ahora me están matando —dijo—, bajo la protección de un marido indigno, que se cree un gran héroe pero es un cobarde y un eunuco».
