As long as you are not flourishing, you should make a truce with the demons and asuras, who are now being favored by time.

En espera de épocas más prósperas para ustedes, deben pactar una tregua con los demonios y asuras, a quienes el tiempo favorece ahora.

Purport

Significado

One word in this verse has two readings — kālena and kāvyena. Kālena means “favored by time,” and kāvyena means “favored by Śukrācārya,” Śukrācārya being the spiritual master of the Daityas. The demons and Daityas were favored in both ways, and therefore the demigods were advised by the Supreme Lord to execute a truce for the time being, until time favored them.

En este verso hay una palabra con dos posibles lecturas: kālena y kāvyena. Kālena significa «favorecidos por el tiempo», y kāvyena significa «favorecidos por Śukrācārya»; Śukrācārya es el maestro espiritual de los daityas. Los demonios y daityas se veían favorecidos tanto por una causa como por otra, y, por esa razón, el Señor Supremo aconsejó a los semidioses que, de momento, pactasen una tregua, en espera de que el tiempo les fuese favorable.
