Translation

Traducción

Bali Mahārāja has become the most famous among the demons and nonbelievers, for in spite of being bereft of all material opulences, he is fixed in his devotional service.

Bali Mahārāja se ha vuelto el más famoso de los demonios y no creyentes, pues, aunque se ha visto privado de toda opulencia material, permanece firme en su servicio devocional.

Significado

In this verse, the words sīdann api na muhyati are very important. A devotee is sometimes put into adversity while executing devotional service. In adversity, everyone laments and becomes aggrieved, but by the grace of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, a devotee, even in the worst condition, can understand that he is going through a severe examination by the Personality of Godhead. Bali Mahārāja passed all such examinations, as explained in the following verses.

En este verso son muy importantes las palabras sīdann api na muhyati. A veces, en el curso de su servicio devocional, el devoto se ve forzado a enfrentarse a la adversidad. En circunstancias adversas, todo el mundo se lamenta y se aflige, pero, por la gracia de la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, el devoto puede entender, aun en las peores situaciones, que la Suprema Personalidad de Dios le está sometiendo a una difícil prueba. Bali Mahārāja, como se explica en los siguientes versos, superó todas esas pruebas.
