पित्रा प्रोक्ता: प्रजासर्गे प्रतीचीं प्रययुर्दिशम् ॥ २ ॥

sarve dākṣāyaṇā nṛpa

pratīcīṁ prayayur diśam

Translation

Traducción

My dear King, all the sons of Prajāpati Dakṣa were alike in being very gentle and obedient to the orders of their father. When their father ordered them to beget children, they all went in the western direction.

Mi querido rey, todos los hijos de Prajāpati Dakṣa se parecían en el hecho de ser muy amables y muy obedientes a las órdenes de su padre. Cuando este les ordenó que concibiesen hijos, todos ellos partieron en dirección oeste.
