The Supreme Personality of Godhead is situated as the Supersoul within the cores of the hearts of all living entities, whether moving or nonmoving, including men, birds, animals, trees and, indeed, all living entities. Therefore you should consider every body a residence or temple of the Lord. By such vision you will satisfy the Lord. You should not angrily kill these living entities in the forms of trees.

Nejvyšší Osobnost Božství sídlí jako Nadduše v hloubi srdcí všech živých bytostí, ať už pohyblivých či nehybných — lidí, ptáků, zvířat, stromů; vskutku každého. Měli byste proto každé tělo považovat za Pánovo sídlo či chrám; takovým náhledem Pána uspokojíte. Neměli byste rozhněvaně zabíjet tyto živé bytosti v podobách stromů.

Význam

As stated in Bhagavad-gītā and confirmed by all the Vedic scriptures, īśvaraḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ hṛd-deśe ’rjuna tiṣṭhati: the Supersoul is situated within everyone’s heart. Therefore, since everyone’s body is the residence of the Supreme Lord, one should not destroy the body because of unnecessary envy. That will dissatisfy the Supersoul. Soma told the Pracetās that because they had tried to satisfy the Supersoul, now they should not displease Him.

Jak uvádí Bhagavad-gītā a potvrzují všechna védská písma: īśvaraḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ hṛd-deśe 'rjuna tiṣṭhati — Nadduše sídlí v srdci každého. Jelikož je tedy tělo každého sídlem Nejvyšší Osobnosti Božství, nikdo by neměl žádné tělo ničit kvůli zbytečné zlobě. Takové jednání se Nadduši nelíbí. Soma řekl Pracetům, že jelikož se předtím snažili Nadduši uspokojit, neměli by nyní vyvolávat Její nespokojenost.
