jagataḥ kāraṇaṁ param
iyaṁ hi prakṛtiḥ sūkṣmā
māyā-śaktir duratyayā

Translation

Traducción

My Lord Viṣṇu and mother Lakṣmī, goddess of fortune, you are the proprietors of the entire creation. Indeed, you are the cause of the creation. Mother Lakṣmī is extremely difficult to understand because she is so powerful that the jurisdiction of her power is difficult to overcome. Mother Lakṣmī is represented in the material world as the external energy, but actually she is always the internal energy of the Lord.

Mi Señor Viṣṇu y madre Lakṣmī, diosa de la fortuna, ustedes son los propietarios de toda la creación. En verdad, son la causa de la creación. Es muy difícil comprender a madre Lakṣmī, pues es tan poderosa que la cobertura de su poder es casi imposible de superar. En el mundo material, madre Lakṣmī está representada en la energía externa, pero, en realidad, ella es siempre la energía interna del Señor.
