indriyārāmam ulbaṇam
aklinna-hṛdayaṁ pāpaṁ
ghātayitvā śaye sukham

kadā — cuándo; nu — en verdad; bhrātṛ-hantāram — el asesino de los hermanos; indriya-ārāmam — muy apegado a la complacencia de los sentidos; ulbaṇam — cruel; aklinna-hṛdayam — de corazón duro; pāpam — pecaminoso; ghātayitvā — habiendo causado la muerte; śaye — descansaré; sukham — con felicidad.

Translation

Traducción

Lord Indra, who is very much fond of sense gratification, has killed the two brothers Hiraṇyākṣa and Hiraṇyakaśipu by means of Lord Viṣṇu. Therefore Indra is cruel, hardhearted and sinful. When will I, having killed him, rest with a pacified mind?

El Señor Indra, que está muy apegado a la complacencia de los sentidos, ha matado a los dos hermanos Hiraṇyākṣa e Hiraṇyakaśipu con la ayuda del Señor Viṣṇu. Por lo tanto, Indra es cruel, duro de corazón y pecaminoso. Mientras no le mate, mi mente no estará en paz.
