tayā saṁsthāpayaty etad
bhūyaḥ pratyapidhāsyati

тайа̄ сам̇стга̄пайатй етад

By His self-sheltered potency of the three modes of material nature, the Lord has caused the creation of this universe. By her He maintains the creation and conversely dissolves it, again and again.
Своєю енерґією, що підвладна Йому і що складається з трьох якостей матеріальної природи, Господь спричинив творення всесвіту. Цією енерґією Він підтримує все творіння, а тоді згортає його назад, повторюючи це все знову й знову.

Коментар
This cosmic universe is created by the Lord for those living entities who are carried away by the illusory thought of becoming one with Him by imitation. The three modes of material nature are for the further bewilderment of the conditioned souls. The conditioned living entity, bewildered by the illusory energy, considers himself a part of the material creation due to forgetfulness of his spiritual identity, and thus he becomes entangled in material activities life after life. This material world is not for the purpose of the Lord Himself, but is for the conditioned souls who wanted to be controllers due to misuse of their God-gifted minute independence. Thus the conditioned souls are subjected to repeated birth and death.
ПОЯСНЕННЯ: Господь творить матеріальний космос для тих живих істот, котрі піддалися ілюзорному бажанню наслідувати Його, щоб зрівнятися з Ним. Функція трьох ґун матеріальної природи полягає в тому, щоб іще більше вводити живих істот в оману. Зумовлена жива істота, збита ілюзорною енерґією з пантелику, вважає себе частиною матеріального творіння, забуваючи свою духовну сутність, і таким чином життя за життям залишається в сітях матеріальної діяльності. Господь створює матеріальний світ не для Своїх цілей, а для зумовлених душ, які, зловживаючи своєю даною від Бога крихітною незалежністю, забажали панувати. Саме це через це бажання панувати зумовлені душі змушені знову і знову народжуватися і помирати.
