सन्दह्यमानसर्वाङ्ग एषामुद्वहनाधिना ।

Traducción

Although he is always burning with anxiety, such a fool always performs all kinds of mischievous activities, with a hope which is never to be fulfilled, in order to maintain his so-called family and society.

Aunque siempre se consume de ansiedad, ese necio sigue realizando toda clase de actos maliciosos, con esperanzas que nunca se verán satisfechas, a fin de mantener a lo que él considera su familia y su sociedad.

Significado

It is said that it is easier to maintain a great empire than to maintain a small family, especially in these days, when the influence of Kali-yuga is so strong that everyone is harassed and full of anxieties because of accepting the false presentation of māyā’s family. The family we maintain is created by māyā; it is the perverted reflection of the family in Kṛṣṇaloka. In Kṛṣṇaloka there are also family, friends, society, father and mother; everything is there, but they are eternal. Here, as we change bodies, our family relationships also change. Sometimes we are in a family of human beings, sometimes in a family of demigods, sometimes a family of cats, or sometimes a family of dogs. Family, society and friendship are flickering, and so they are called asat. It is said that as long as we are attached to this asat, temporary, nonexisting society and family, we are always full of anxieties. The materialists do not know that the family, society and friendship here in this material world are only shadows, and thus they become attached. Naturally their hearts are always burning, but in spite of all inconvenience, they still work to maintain such false families because they have no information of the real family association with Kṛṣṇa.

Se dice que es más fácil mantener un gran imperio que una pequeña familia, especialmente hoy en día, que la influencia de Kali-yuga es tan fuerte que todo el mundo está agobiado y lleno de ansiedades por haber aceptado la engañosa oferta familiar de māyā. La familia que mantenemos es creación de māyā; es el reflejo desvirtuado de la familia de Kṛṣṇaloka. Allí también hay familia, amigos, sociedad, padre y madre: todo; pero eterno. Aquí, nuestras relaciones familiares cambian cada vez que cambiamos de cuerpo. Unas veces estamos en una familia de seres humanos, otras, en una familia de semidioses, en una familia de gatos, o en una familia de perros. La familia, la sociedad y la amistad son inestables, y por eso se dice que son asat. Mientras estemos apegados a esa familia y a esa sociedad, que son inexistentes, temporales, siempre estaremos llenos de ansiedad. Los materialistas, sin saber que aquí, en el mundo material, la familia, la sociedad y la amistad no son más que sombras, se apegan a esas cosas. Claro está, sus corazones se consumen sin cesar; pero a pesar de todos los inconvenientes, siguen trabajando para mantener a sus falsas familias, pues no tienen información de su verdadera relación familiar con Kṛṣṇa.
