Translation
Traducción
Vibhāvarī is the home of Varuṇa, lord of the aquatic creatures and guardian of the lower regions of the universe, where the demons generally reside. There Hiraṇyākṣa fell at Varuṇa’s feet like a lowborn man, and to make fun of him he said with a smile, “Give me battle, O Supreme Lord!”
Vibhāvarī es el hogar de Varuṇa, señor de las criaturas acuáticas y guardián de las regiones inferiores del universo, en que generalmente habitan los demonios. Allí Hiraṇyākṣa cayó a los pies de Varuṇa como un hombre de nacimiento bajo, y, para burlarse de él, sonriendo dijo: Pelea conmigo, ¡oh, señor supremo!

Significado
The demoniac person always challenges others and tries to occupy others’ property by force. Here these symptoms are fully displayed by Hiraṇyākṣa, who begged war from a person who had no desire to fight.
La persona demoníaca siempre desafía a los demás, e intenta ocupar, a la fuerza, las propiedades ajenas. Aquí Hiraṇyākṣa manifiesta completamente esos signos, pidiendo batalla a una persona que no tenía deseos de pelear.
