दिविस्पृशौ हेमकिरीटकोटिभि-
र्निरुद्धकाष्ठौ स्फुरदङ्गदाभुजौ ।
गां कम्पयन्तौ चरणै: पदे पदे
कट्या सुकाञ्‍च्यार्कमतीत्य तस्थतु: ॥ १७ ॥

gāṁ kampayantau caraṇaiḥ pade pade

Translation

Traducción

Their bodies became so tall that they seemed to kiss the sky with the crests of their gold crowns. They blocked the view of all directions and while walking shook the earth at every step. Their arms were adorned with brilliant bracelets, and they stood as if covering the sun with their waists, which were bound with excellent and beautiful girdles.

Sus cuerpos eran tan altos que los penachos de sus coronas de oro parecían besar el cielo. Tapaban la vista en todas direcciones, y al caminar sacudían la Tierra a cada paso. Adornaban sus brazos con brillantes brazaletes, y, puestos en pie, cubrían el Sol con sus cinturas, ceñidas con cinturones excelentemente hermosos.

Significado

In the demoniac way of civilization, people are interested in getting a body constructed in such a way that when they walk on the street the earth will tremble and when they stand it will appear that they cover the sun and the vision of the four directions. If a race appears strong in body, their country is materially considered to be among the highly advanced nations of the world.

En el estilo de civilización demoníaco, la gente se interesa en procurarse un cuerpo de constitución tal que cuando caminen por la calle retiemble la Tierra, y que cuando se pongan en pie parezca que tapan el Sol y la vista en las cuatro direcciones.
