All blessings upon you, O Sūta Gosvāmī. You know for what purpose the Personality of Godhead appeared in the womb of Devakī as the son of Vasudeva.

Благословен будь, о Суто Ґосвамі. Тобі відомо, задля чого в Девакіному лоні як син Васудеви з’явився Бог-Особа.

Коментар

Bhagavān means the almighty God who is the controller of all opulence, power, fame, beauty, knowledge and renunciation. He is the protector of His pure devotees. Although God is equally disposed to everyone, He is especially inclined to His devotees. Sat means the Absolute Truth. And persons who are servitors of the Absolute Truth are called sātvatas. And the Personality of Godhead who protects such pure devotees is known as the protector of the sātvatas. Bhadraṁ te, or “blessings upon you,” indicates the sages’ anxiety to know the Absolute Truth from the speaker. Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, appeared to Devakī, the wife of Vasudeva. Vasudeva is the symbol of the transcendental position wherein the appearance of the Supreme Lord takes place.

Словом бгаґаван позначають всемогутнього Бога, що владає всіма багатствами, силою, славою, красою, знанням та зреченістю. Він — захисник Своїх чистих відданих. Хоча Бог до всіх ставиться рівно, до Своїх відданих Він чує особливу прихильність. Сат означає «Абсолютна Істина», а слуг Абсолютної Істини називають сатватами. А Бог-Особа, що чистих відданих захищає, славиться як оборонець сатватів. Слова бгадрам̇ те, «будь благословенний», показують, як палко бажали мудреці почути від мовця про Абсолютну Істину. Господь Шрі Крішна, Верховний Бог-Особа, явився Девакі, Васудевиній дружині. Васудева — це символ трансцендентного становища, у якому Верховний Господь являє Себе.
