tabe bhaktera durbala jīvana
yāra eka-bindu-pāne, utphullita tanu-mane,
hāse, gāya, karaye nartana

Translation

Traducción

Men become strong and stout by eating sufficient grains, but the devotee who simply eats ordinary grains but does not taste the transcendental pastimes of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Kṛṣṇa gradually becomes weak and falls down from the transcendental position. However, if one drinks but a drop of the nectar of Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes, his body and mind begin to bloom, and he begins to laugh, sing and dance.

Los hombres se ponen fuertes y robustos si comen los cereales suficientes, pero el devoto que se limita a comer cereales corrientes y no saborea los pasatiempos trascendentales del Señor Caitanya Mahāprabhu y de Kṛṣṇa, poco a poco se debilita y cae de la posición trascendental. Significado

All the devotees connected with the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement must read all the books that have been translated (the Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Bhagavad-gītā and others); otherwise, after some time, they will simply eat, sleep and fall down from their position. Thus they will miss the opportunity to attain an eternal, blissful life of transcendental pleasure.

Todos los devotos vinculados al movimiento para la conciencia de Kṛṣṇa deben leer todos los libros que se han traducido (Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Bhagavad-gītā y otros); de lo contrario, pasado algún tiempo, lo único que harán será comer, dormir y caer de su posición. De ese modo perderán la oportunidad de alcanzar una vida eterna y bienaventurada de placer trascendental.
