Translation

Traducción

“As soon as an intelligent devotee sees an unwanted creeper growing beside the original creeper, he must cut it down instantly. Then the real creeper, the bhakti-latā, grows nicely, returns home, back to Godhead, and seeks shelter under the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa.

«El devoto inteligente debe cortar esas enredaderas indeseables en el mismo instante en que las vea crecer al lado de la planta original. Entonces, la verdadera enredadera, la bhakti-latā, crece con fuerza, va de regreso al hogar, de vuelta a Dios, y busca refugio bajo los pies de loto de Kṛṣṇa.

Purport

Significado

If one is misled by unwanted creepers and is victimized, he cannot make progress back to Godhead. Rather, he remains within the material world and engages in activities having nothing to do with pure devotional service. Such a person may be elevated to the higher planetary systems, but because he remains within the material world, he is subjected to the threefold material miseries.

Cuando alguien cae víctima de las malas hierbas y se deja descarriar por ellas, no puede progresar para ir de regreso a Dios, sino que permanece en el mundo material y se ocupa en actividades que no tienen nada que ver con el servicio devocional puro. Esa persona puede elevarse a los sistemas planetarios superiores, pero, como todavía permanece en el mundo material, está expuesta a las tres miserias materiales.
