āmi kahi, — āmā haite nā haya ‘viṣaya’
caitanya-caraṇe rahoṅ, yadi ājñā haya

Translation

Traducción

“I said, ‘Your Majesty, I am now not willing to engage in political activities. I desire only to stay at the lotus feet of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Kindly give me permission.’

«Yo dije: “Vuestra Majestad, no tengo deseo de seguir dedicado a la política. Sólo deseo estar a los pies de loto de Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Por favor, dadme Vuestro permiso”.
