Translation

Traducción

“The man to whom the Lord shows His mercy by inspiring him within the heart takes shelter only of Lord Kṛṣṇa and abandons all Vedic and social customs.

«Cuando el Señor muestra Su misericordia a una persona inspirándola desde dentro del corazón, esa persona se refugia solamente en el Señor Kṛṣṇa y abandona todas las costumbres védicas y sociales.

Significado

This is also the teaching of Lord Kṛṣṇa in the Bhagavad-gītā (18.66):

Ésa es también la enseñanza del Señor Kṛṣṇa en la Bhagavad-gītā:

sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja
ahaṁ tvāṁ sarva-pāpebhyo mokṣayiṣyāmi mā śucaḥ

“Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.” Such firm faith in the Supreme Personality of Godhead is possible only by the mercy of the Lord. The Lord is sitting within everyone’s heart, and when He personally inspires His devotee, the devotee does not stick to the Vedic principles or social customs but rather devotes himself to the transcendental loving service of the Lord. This is confirmed in the following verse from Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (4.29.46).

«Abandona toda clase de religión y sencillamente entrégate a Mí. Yo te liberaré de toda reacción pecaminosa. No temas» (Bg. 18.66). Esa fe firme en la Suprema Personalidad de Dios sólo es posible por la misericordia del Señor. El Señor está en el corazón de todos, y, cuando Él inspira personalmente a Su devoto, el devoto ya no atiende a principios védicos ni a costumbres sociales, sino que se consagra al servicio amoroso trascendental del Señor. Esto se confirma en el siguiente verso del Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (4.29.46).
