prākṛta — hmotné; haile ha — i kdyby bylo; tomāra — tvoje; vapu — tělo; nāri — nemohu; upekṣite — opomíjet; bhadra-abhadra — dobré a špatné; vastu-jñāna — vnímání věcí; nāhika — není; prākṛte — v hmotném světě.

Translation

Překlad

“Even if your body were material, I still could not neglect it, for the material body should be considered neither good nor bad.

„Tvé tělo bych neopomíjel, ani kdyby bylo hmotné, protože hmotné tělo by se nemělo považovat ani za dobré, ani za špatné.“

Purport

Význam

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu told Sanātana Gosvāmī, “Since you are a Vaiṣṇava, your body is spiritual, not material. Therefore you should not consider this body to be subjected to superior or inferior qualities. Moreover, I am a sannyāsī. Therefore even if your body were material, a sannyāsī should see no distinction between a good body and a bad body.”

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu řekl Sanātanovi Gosvāmīmu: „Protože jsi vaiṣṇava, tvoje tělo není hmotné, ale duchovní. Neměl bys ho proto vidět jako něco, co musí mít vyšší či nižší vlastnosti. Navíc jsem sannyāsī. I kdyby tedy tvé tělo bylo hmotné, sannyāsī by mezi dobrým a špatným tělem neměl dělat rozdíl.“
