kim iha kṛṇumaḥ kasya brūmaḥ kṛtaṁ kṛtam āśayā
kathayata kathām anyāṁ dhanyām aho hṛdaye śayaḥ
madhura-madhura-smerākāre mano-nayanotsave
kṛpaṇa-kṛpaṇā kṛṣṇe tṛṣṇā ciraṁ bata lambate

Traducción

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said, “ ‘Alas, what shall I do? To whom shall I speak? Let whatever I have done in hopes of meeting Kṛṣṇa be finished now. Please say something auspicious, but do not speak about Kṛṣṇa. Alas, Kṛṣṇa is lying within My heart like Cupid; therefore how can I possibly give up talking of Him? I cannot forget Kṛṣṇa, whose smile is sweeter than sweetness itself and who gives pleasure to My mind and eyes. Alas, My great thirst for Kṛṣṇa is increasing moment by moment!’

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu dijo: «“¡Ay de Mí! ¿Qué voy a hacer? ¿Con quién voy a hablar? Que todo lo que he hecho con la esperanza de encontrar a Kṛṣṇa se termine ahora. Por favor, di algo de buen augurio, pero no hables de Kṛṣṇa. ¡Ay de Mí!, Kṛṣṇa yace en Mi corazón en la forma de Cupido; ¿cómo podría entonces dejar de hablar de Él? No puedo olvidar a Kṛṣṇa, cuya sonrisa es más dulce que la dulzura misma, y que da placer a Mi mente y a Mis ojos. ¡Ay! ¡Mi gran sed de Kṛṣṇa aumenta a cada momento que pasa!”.
