hena kṛṣṇa-nāma yadi laya bahu-bāra
tabu yadi prema nahe, nahe aśrudhāra

tabe jāni, aparādha tāhāte pracura
kṛṣṇa-nāma-bīja tāhe nā kare aṅkura

hena—ese; kṛṣṇa-nāma—santo nombre del Señor; yadi—si; laya—se toma; bahu-bāra—una y otra vez; tabu—aun así; yadi—si; prema—amor por Dios; nahe—no es visible; nahe aśru-dhāra—no hay lágrimas en los ojos; tabe—entonces; jāni—comprendo; aparādha—ofensa; tāhāte—allí (en el proceso); pracura—suficiente; kṛṣṇa-nāma—el santo nombre de Kṛṣṇa; bīja—semilla; tāhe—en esas actividades; nā—no; kare—hace; aṅkura—brota.

Translation

Traducción

If one chants the exalted holy name of the Lord again and again and yet his love for the Supreme Lord does not develop and tears do not appear in his eyes, it is evident that because of his offenses in chanting, the seed of the holy name of Kṛṣṇa does not sprout.

Si se canta el alabado santo nombre del Señor una y otra vez, y todavía el amor por el Señor Supremo no aparece y no hay lágrimas en los ojos, es evidente que, a causa de las ofensas al cantar, no brota la semilla del santo nombre de Kṛṣṇa.

Purport

Significado

If one chants the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra offensively, one does not achieve the desired result. Therefore one should carefully avoid the offenses, which have already been described in connection with verse 24.

Si se canta el mantra Hare Kṛṣṇa cometiendo ofensas, no se logra el resultado deseado. Por tanto, hay que evitar cuidadosamente las ofensas que se han descrito en relación con el verso 24.
