sei ta’ sumedhā, āra kubuddhi saṁsāra
sarva-yajña haite kṛṣṇa-nāma-yajña sāra

Translation

Traducción

Such a person is truly intelligent, whereas others, who have but a poor fund of knowledge, must endure the cycle of repeated birth and death. Of all sacrificial performances, the chanting of the Lord’s holy name is the most sublime.

Esa persona es en verdad inteligente, mientras que otras, que no tienen más que una base débil de conocimiento, deben soportar el ciclo de nacimientos y muertes repetidos. De todas las actividades de sacrificio, el canto del santo nombre del Señor es la más sublime.

Significado

Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is the father and inaugurator of the saṅkīrtana movement. One who worships Him by sacrificing his life, money, intelligence and words for the saṅkīrtana movement is recognized by the Lord and endowed with His blessings. All others may be said to be foolish, for of all sacrifices in which a man may apply his energy, a sacrifice made for the saṅkīrtana movement is the most glorious.

El Señor Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu es el padre y el iniciador del movimiento de saṅkīrtana. Aquel que Le adora sacrificando su vida, su dinero, su inteligencia y sus palabras, en apoyo del movimiento de saṅkīrtana, es reconocido por el Señor, y recibe Sus bendiciones. Todos los demás pueden llamarse insensatos, porque de todos los sacrificios en los que pone sus energías el hombre, el más glorioso es el que se hace por el movimiento de saṅkīrtana.
