gaṅgā-ghāṭe — na břehu Gangy; vṛkṣa-tale — pod stromem; rahe — zůstává; ta' — jistě; vasiyā — sedící; eka dina — jednoho dne; bale — říká; kichu — něco; prabhuke — Pána; dekhiyā — vidící.

Since leprosy is an infectious disease, Gopāla Cāpāla left the village to sit down on the bank of the Ganges underneath a tree. One day, however, he saw Caitanya Mahāprabhu passing by and spoke to Him as follows.

Vzhledem k tomu, že lepra je nakažlivá nemoc, odešel Gopāla Cāpāla z vesnice a sedl si pod strom na břehu Gangy. Jednoho dne však uviděl jít kolem Caitanyu Mahāprabhua a oslovil Ho následovně.
