Translation

Traducción

“Formerly there were powerful brāhmaṇas who could make such experiments using Vedic hymns, but now, because of the Kali-yuga, brāhmaṇas are not so powerful. Therefore the killing of cows and bulls for rejuvenation is forbidden.

«Antiguamente había brāhmaṇas poderosos que podían hacer esos experimentos empleando himnos védicos, pero ahora, a causa de Kali-yuga, los brāhmaṇas no son tan poderosos. Por tanto, está prohibido matar vacas y bueyes para rejuvenecerlos.
