‘brāhmaṇa-patnīra bhartāra haste deha dāna’
śabda śunitei haya dvitīya-bhartā jñāna
‘бра̄хман̣а-патнӣра бхарта̄ра хасте деха да̄на’
ш́абда ш́унитеи хайа двитӣйа-бхарта̄ джн̃а̄на

Translation

Перевод

“If someone says, ‘Place this charity in the hand of the husband of the wife of the brāhmaṇa,’ when we hear these contradictory words we immediately understand that the brāhmaṇa’s wife has another husband.

«Если кто-то скажет: „Дай подаяние мужу жены брахмана“, — то эти противоречивые слова оставят впечатление, что у жены брахмана есть еще какой-то муж».
