I cannot understand the inconceivable pastimes of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu, for although Tapana Miśra wanted to live with Him in Navadvīpa, the Lord advised him to go to Vārāṇasī.

Nepochopitelným zábavám Pána Śrī Caitanyi Mahāprabhua nerozumím, neboť i když chtěl Tapana Miśra žít s Pánem v Navadvípu, Pán mu řekl, aby šel do Váránasí.

Význam

When Tapana Miśra met Him, Caitanya Mahāprabhu was living in household life, and there was no indication that in the future He would accept the sannyāsa order. But by asking Tapana Miśra to go to Vārāṇasī, He indicated that in the future He would accept sannyāsa and that when He would teach Sanātana Gosvāmī, Tapana Miśra would take advantage of the opportunity to learn the object of life and the real process for attaining it.

Caitanya Mahāprabhu žil v době setkání s Tapanou Miśrou jako hospodář a nic nenaznačovalo tomu, že v budoucnosti přijme sannyās. Tím, že poslal Tapanu Miśru do Váránasí, však naznačil, že v budoucnosti sannyās přijme, a až bude učit Sanātanu Gosvāmīho, Tapana Miśra bude moci využít této příležitosti, aby se dozvěděl, co je cílem života a jakým způsobem ho dosáhnout.
