Translation

Traducción

These branches and subbranches of devotees are innumerable and unlimited. Who could count them? For my personal purification I shall try to enumerate only the most prominent among them.

Esas ramas principales y secundarias de devotos son innumerables e ilimitadas. ¿Quién podría contarlas? Para mi purificación personal, trataré de enumerar sólo las más destacadas entre ellas.

Purport

Significado

One should not write books or essays on transcendental subject matter for material name, fame or profit. Transcendental literature must be written under the direction of a superior authority because it is not meant for material purposes. If one tries to write under superior authority, he becomes purified. All Kṛṣṇa conscious activities should be undertaken for personal purification (āpanā śodhite), not for material gain.

No se deben escribir libros o ensayos sobre temas trascendentales buscando renombre, fama o provecho materiales. La literatura trascendental debe escribirse bajo la dirección de una autoridad superior, porque con ello no se debe perseguir ningún propósito material. Al intentar escribir bajo una autoridad superior, la persona se purifica. Todas las actividades con conciencia de Kṛṣṇa deben emprenderse por la purificación personal (āpanā śodhite), no por una ganancia material.
