The Most Confidential Knowledge

- The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: My dear Arjuna, because you are never envious of Me, I shall impart to you this most confidential knowledge and realization, knowing which you shall be relieved of the miseries of material existence.
- TEXT 1:
- Nejvyšší Pán, Osobnost Božství, pravil: Můj milý Arjuno, jelikož Mi nikdy nezávidíš, vyjevím ti toto nejdůvěrnější poznání a jeho realizaci. Jakmile je poznáš, budeš zbaven strastí hmotné existence.
- TEXT 2:
- This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of religion. It is everlasting, and it is joyfully performed.
- TEXT 2:
- Toto poznání je královskou vědou a největším ze všech tajemství. Je nejčistší, a jelikož umožňuje přímo vnímat vlastní já na základě realizace, je dokonalostí náboženství. Nikdy nepomíjí a jeho uplatňování je nesmírně radostné.
- TEXT 3:
- Those who are not faithful in this devotional service cannot attain Me, O conqueror of enemies. Therefore they return to the path of birth and death in this material world.
- TEXT 3:
- Ó hubiteli nepřátel! Ti, kdo nemají víru v tuto oddanou službu, Mě nemohou dosáhnout. Proto se vracejí na cestu zrození a smrti v hmotné existenci.
- TEXT 5:
- And yet everything that is created does not rest in Me. Behold My mystic opulence! Although I am the maintainer of all living entities and although I am everywhere, I am not a part of this cosmic manifestation, for My Self is the very source of creation.
- TEXT 5:
- A přesto ve Mně vše stvořené nespočívá. Pohleď na Mou mystickou moc! I když jsem oporou pro všechny živé bytosti a jsem všude, nejsem částí tohoto vesmírného projevu — Mé vlastní Já je samotným zdrojem stvoření.
- TEXT 7:
- O son of Kuntī, at the end of the millennium all material manifestations enter into My nature, and at the beginning of another millennium, by My potency, I create them again.
- TEXT 7:
- Ó synu Kuntī, na konci věku vstupují všechny hmotné projevy do Mé přirozenosti a na začátku dalšího věku je svou silou znovu tvořím.
- TEXT 10:
- This material nature, which is one of My energies, is working under My direction, O son of Kuntī, producing all moving and nonmoving beings. Under its rule this manifestation is created and annihilated again and again.
- TEXT 10:
- Ó synu Kuntī! Tato hmotná příroda, která je jednou z Mých energií, jedná pod Mým dohledem a přivádí na svět všechny pohyblivé a nehybné bytosti. Jejím působením je tento projev znovu a znovu tvořen a ničen.
- TEXT 12:
- Those who are thus bewildered are attracted by demonic and atheistic views. In that deluded condition, their hopes for liberation, their fruitive activities, and their culture of knowledge are all defeated.

- Takto zmatené jedince přitahují démonské a ateistické principy. Když jsou tímto způsobem oklamáni, jejich naděje na osvobození, práce s vidinou jejích plodů i rozvoj poznání jsou zmařeny.
- TEXT 13:
- O son of Pṛthā, those who are not deluded, the great souls, are under the protection of the divine nature. They are fully engaged in devotional service because they know Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, original and inexhaustible.
- TEXT 13:
- Ó synu Pṛthy, ti, kdo nejsou zmateni — velké duše — jsou pod ochranou božské přirozenosti. Plně se zaměstnávají oddanou službou, protože Mě znají jako původní Nejvyšší Osobnost Božství s nevyčerpatelnou existencí.
- TEXT 15:
- Others, who engage in sacrifice by the cultivation of knowledge, worship the Supreme Lord as the one without a second, as diverse in many, and in the universal form.
- TEXT 15:
- Jiní, kteří podstupují oběť rozvíjení poznání, uctívají Mě, Nejvyššího Pána, jako jednotu, rozmanitost v mnoha nebo vesmírnou podobu.
- TEXT 16:
- But it is I who am the ritual, I the sacrifice, the offering to the ancestors, the healing herb, the transcendental chant. I am the butter and the fire and the offering.
- TEXT 16:
- Jsem to však Já, kdo je obřadem, obětí, obětinou nabízenou předkům, léčivou bylinou i transcendentálním zpěvem. Já jsem máslo, oheň i obětina.
- TEXT 17:
- I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable oṁ. I am also the Ṛg, the Sāma and the Yajur Vedas.
- TEXT 17:
- Jsem otec tohoto vesmíru, matka, ten, kdo umožňuje existenci a děd. Jsem předmět poznání, očišťující činitel a slabika oṁ. Jsem také Ṛg, Sāma a Yajur Veda.
- TEXT 18:
- I am the goal, the sustainer, the master, the witness, the abode, the refuge and the most dear friend. I am the creation and the annihilation, the basis of everything, the resting place and the eternal seed.
- TEXT 18:
- Jsem cíl, udržovatel, pán, svědek, sídlo, útočiště a nejdražší přítel. Jsem stvoření a zničení, základ všeho, schránka a věčné semeno.
- TEXT 20:
- Those who study the Vedas and drink the soma juice, seeking the heavenly planets, worship Me indirectly. Purified of sinful reactions, they take birth on the pious, heavenly planet of Indra, where they enjoy godly delights.
- TEXT 20:
- Znalci Ved pijící šťávu soma, kteří se chtějí dostat na nebeské planety, Mě uctívají nepřímo. Když jsou očištěni od reakcí za hříšné činy, rodí se na nebeské planetě Indry vyznačující se zbožností, kde si užívají božských radostí.
- TEXT 21:
- When they have thus enjoyed vast heavenly sense pleasure and the results of their pious activities are exhausted, they return to this mortal planet again. Thus those who seek sense enjoyment by adhering to the principles of the three Vedas achieve only repeated birth and death.
- TEXT 21:
- Poté, co se těšili nesmírnému nebeskému požitku smyslů a vyčerpali výsledky svých zbožných činností, se vracejí na Zemi, planetu smrti. Ti, kdo chtějí uspokojit smysly pomocí dodržování zásad tří Ved, tak dosahují pouze opakovaného rození a umírání.
- TEXT 22:
- But those who always worship Me with exclusive devotion, meditating on My transcendental form – to them I carry what they lack, and I preserve what they have.
- TEXT 22:
- Ale těm, kteří Mě vždy uctívají s výlučnou oddaností a rozjímají o Mé transcendentální podobě, přináším to, co potřebují, a chráním to, co mají.
- TEXT 25:
- Those who worship the demigods will take birth among the demigods; those who worship the ancestors go to the ancestors; those who worship ghosts and spirits will take birth among such beings; and those who worship Me will live with Me.
- TEXT 25:
- Ti, kdo uctívají polobohy, se narodí mezi polobohy; ti, kdo uctívají předky, půjdou k předkům; ti, kdo uctívají duchy, se narodí mezi takovými bytostmi a ti, kdo uctívají Mě, budou žít se Mnou.
- TEXT 28:
- In this way you will be freed from bondage to work and its auspicious and inauspicious results. With your mind fixed on Me in this principle of renunciation, you will be liberated and come to Me.
- TEXT 28:
- Tak nebudeš spoután prací a jejími příznivými a nepříznivými výsledky. S myslí na Mě upřenou v této náladě odříkání budeš osvobozen a dospěješ ke Mně.
- TEXT 29:
- I envy no one, nor am I partial to anyone. I am equal to all. But whoever renders service unto Me in devotion is a friend, is in Me, and I am also a friend to him.
- TEXT 29:
- Vůči nikomu nechovám zášť a nikomu nestraním. Jsem stejně nakloněn všem. Ale každý, kdo Mi oddaně slouží, je Můj přítel — je u Mě — a Já jsem také přítelem jemu.
- TEXT 30:
- Even if one commits the most abominable action, if he is engaged in devotional service he is to be considered saintly because he is properly situated in his determination.
- TEXT 30:
- Je-li ten, kdo se dopustí i toho nejohavnějšího činu, zaměstnaný oddanou službou, má být považován za světce, protože jeho rozhodnost je správná.
- TEXT 32:
- O son of Pṛthā, those who take shelter in Me, though they be of lower birth – women, vaiśyas [merchants] and śūdras [workers] – can attain the supreme destination.
- TEXT 32:
- Ó synu Pṛthy! Ti, kdo se ke Mně uchýlí, byť jsou i nižšího původu, ženy, vaiśyové (obchodníci) a śūdrové (dělníci), mohou dosáhnout nejvyššího cíle.
- TEXT 33:
- How much more this is so of the righteous brāhmaṇas, the devotees and the saintly kings. Therefore, having come to this temporary, miserable world, engage in loving service unto Me.
- TEXT 33:
- O co víc to musí platit o řádných lidech, brāhmaṇech, oddaných a svatých králích. Když jsi tedy přišel do tohoto dočasného světa plného utrpení, s láskou Mi služ.
