तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु मामनुस्मर युध्य च ।
मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्मामेवैष्यस्यसंशय: ॥ ७ ॥

mām anusmara yudhya ca
mayy arpita-mano-buddhir
mām evaiṣyasy asaṁśayaḥ

tasmāt — portanto; sarveṣu — em todos; kāleṣu — os momentos; mām — de Mim; anusmara — continue lembrando-se; yudhya — lute; ca — também; mayi — a Mim; arpita — rendendo; manaḥ — mente; buddhiḥ — intelecto; mām — a Mim; eva — seguramente; eṣyasi — alcançarás; asaṁśayaḥ — sem dúvida.

Therefore, Arjuna, you should always think of Me in the form of Kṛṣṇa and at the same time carry out your prescribed duty of fighting. With your activities dedicated to Me and your mind and intelligence fixed on Me, you will attain Me without doubt.

Portanto, Arjuna, você deve sempre pensar em Mim na forma de Kṛṣṇa e ao mesmo tempo cumprir com seu dever prescrito de lutar. Com suas atividades dedicadas a Mim e sua mente e inteligência fixas em Mim, não há dúvida de que você Me alcançará.

Comentário

This instruction to Arjuna is very important for all men engaged in material activities. The Lord does not say that one should give up his prescribed duties or engagements. One can continue them and at the same time think of Kṛṣṇa by chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa. This will free one from material contamination and engage the mind and intelligence in Kṛṣṇa. By chanting Kṛṣṇa’s names, one will be transferred to the supreme planet, Kṛṣṇaloka, without a doubt.

Esta instrução transmitida a Arjuna é muito importante para todos os que se ocupam em atividades materiais. O Senhor não diz que alguém deve desistir de seus deveres prescritos ou ocupações. Pode-se continuar com eles e ao mesmo tempo pensar em Kṛṣṇa, cantando Hare Kṛṣṇa. Isto nos livrará da contaminação material e ocupará nossa mente e inteligência em Kṛṣṇa.
