Knowledge of the Absolute

- TEXT 1:
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Now hear, O son of Pṛthā, how by practicing yoga in full consciousness of Me, with mind attached to Me, you can know Me in full, free from doubt.
- ТЕКСТ 1 :
- Верховный Господь сказал: Теперь, о сын Притхи, услышь о том, как, вручив себя Мне, сосредоточив на Мне свой ум и отбросив все сомнения, ты сможешь в полной мере постичь Меня, идя путем йоги.
- TEXT 2:
- I shall now declare unto you in full this knowledge, both phenomenal and numinous. This being known, nothing further shall remain for you to know.
- ТЕКСТ 2 :
- Сейчас Я открою тебе во всей полноте знание о материальной и о духовной природе. Когда ты овладеешь им, для тебя уже не останется ничего непознанного.
- TEXT 5:
- Besides these, O mighty-armed Arjuna, there is another, superior energy of Mine, which comprises the living entities who are exploiting the resources of this material, inferior nature.
- ТЕКСТ 5 :
- Помимо нее, о могучерукий Арджуна, есть другая, Моя высшая энергия, состоящая из живых существ, которые пользуются тем, что создано материальной, низшей энергией.
- TEXT 6:
- All created beings have their source in these two natures. Of all that is material and all that is spiritual in this world, know for certain that I am both the origin and the dissolution.

- В этих двух природах берут начало все сотворенные существа. Знай же, что Я начало и конец всего в этом мире, который представляет собой соединение материи и духа.
- TEXT 10:
- O son of Pṛthā, know that I am the original seed of all existences, the intelligence of the intelligent, and the prowess of all powerful men.

- О сын Притхи, знай же, что Я изначальное семя всех существ, разум разумных и мощь могучих.
- TEXT 11:
- I am the strength of the strong, devoid of passion and desire. I am sex life which is not contrary to religious principles, O lord of the Bhāratas [Arjuna].

- Я сила сильных, свободная от страсти и желания. Я половая жизнь, не противоречащая законам религии, о предводитель Бхарат.
- TEXT 12:
- Know that all states of being – be they of goodness, passion or ignorance – are manifested by My energy. I am, in one sense, everything, but I am independent. I am not under the modes of material nature, for they, on the contrary, are within Me.
- ТЕКСТ 12 :
- Знай же, что все состояния бытия, будь то в благости, страсти или невежестве, созданы Моей энергией. Я есть всё, и в то же время Я стою в стороне от всего. Я не подвластен гунам природы — это они подвластны Мне.
- TEXT 13:
- Deluded by the three modes [goodness, passion and ignorance], the whole world does not know Me, who am above the modes and inexhaustible.
- ТЕКСТ 13 :
- Ввергнутый в иллюзию тремя гунами природы [благостью, страстью и невежеством], весь мир не знает Меня, стоящего над гунами и неисчерпаемого.
- TEXT 14:
- This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it.
- ТЕКСТ 14 :
- Преодолеть влияние Моей божественной энергии, состоящей из трех гун материальной природы, невероятно трудно. Но тот, кто предался Мне, с легкостью выходит из-под ее власти.
- TEXT 15:
- Those miscreants who are grossly foolish, who are lowest among mankind, whose knowledge is stolen by illusion, and who partake of the atheistic nature of demons do not surrender unto Me.
- ТЕКСТ 15 :
- Невежественные глупцы, низшие из людей, те, чье знание украдено иллюзией и кому присуща безбожная природа демонов, — все эти грешники не предаются Мне.
- TEXT 16:
- O best among the Bhāratas, four kinds of pious men begin to render devotional service unto Me – the distressed, the desirer of wealth, the inquisitive, and he who is searching for knowledge of the Absolute.

- О лучший из Бхарат, четыре вида праведников встают на путь преданного служения Мне: страждущие, ищущие богатства, любознательные и те, кто стремится постичь Абсолютную Истину.
- TEXT 17:
- Of these, the one who is in full knowledge and who is always engaged in pure devotional service is the best. For I am very dear to him, and he is dear to Me.
- ТЕКСТ 17 :
- Лучший из них тот, кто обладает совершенным знанием и всегда занят чистым преданным служением Мне. Я очень дорог такому преданному, и он очень дорог Мне.
- TEXT 18:
- All these devotees are undoubtedly magnanimous souls, but he who is situated in knowledge of Me I consider to be just like My own self. Being engaged in My transcendental service, he is sure to attain Me, the highest and most perfect goal.
- ТЕКСТ 18 :
- Все эти преданные, без сомнения, возвышенные души, но того из них, кто постиг Меня, Я считаю во всем подобным Мне. Служа Мне с трансцендентной любовью, он непременно придет ко Мне, высшей и самой заветной цели.
- TEXT 19:
- After many births and deaths, he who is actually in knowledge surrenders unto Me, knowing Me to be the cause of all causes and all that is. Such a great soul is very rare.
- ТЕКСТ 19 :
- Тот, кто, пройдя через множество рождений и смертей, обрел совершенное знание, вручает себя Мне, ибо он понял, что Я причина всех причин и все сущее. Такая великая душа встречается очень редко.
- TEXT 20:
- Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.
- ТЕКСТ 20 :
- Те же, кого материальные желания лишили разума, принимают покровительство полубогов и поклоняются им, следуя предписаниям Вед, соответствующим природе этих людей.
- TEXT 21:
- I am in everyone’s heart as the Supersoul. As soon as one desires to worship some demigod, I make his faith steady so that he can devote himself to that particular deity.
- ТЕКСТ 21 :
- Я пребываю в сердце каждого как Сверхдуша, и, когда человек хочет поклоняться тому или иному полубогу, Я укрепляю его веру в этого полубога, чтобы он мог вручить себя ему.
- TEXT 22:
- Endowed with such a faith, he endeavors to worship a particular demigod and obtains his desires. But in actuality these benefits are bestowed by Me alone.
- ТЕКСТ 22 :
- С такой верой человек поклоняется этому полубогу и добивается желаемого. Но на самом деле все блага, которые он получает, дарую Я один.
- TEXT 23:
- Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, but My devotees ultimately reach My supreme planet.
- ТЕКСТ 23 :
- Недалекие люди поклоняются полубогам, однако обретаемые ими плоды скудны и преходящи. Те, кто поклоняется полубогам, попадают на планеты полубогов, но те, кто предан Мне, достигают Моей высочайшей обители.
- TEXT 24:
- Unintelligent men, who do not know Me perfectly, think that I, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, was impersonal before and have now assumed this personality. Due to their small knowledge, they do not know My higher nature, which is imperishable and supreme.
- ТЕКСТ 24 :
- Люди, лишенные разума и не знающие Меня таким, какой Я есть, считают, что Я, Верховная Личность Бога, Кришна, раньше не был личностью, а теперь стал ею. Из-за скудости своих познаний они не понимают, что Я обладаю высшей природой, абсолютной и нетленной.
- TEXT 25:
- I am never manifest to the foolish and unintelligent. For them I am covered by My internal potency, and therefore they do not know that I am unborn and infallible.
- ТЕКСТ 25 :
- Я никогда не являю Себя глупцам и невеждам. От них Меня скрывает Моя внутренняя энергия, и потому они не знают, что Я нерожденный и неисчерпаемый.
- TEXT 26:
- O Arjuna, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities; but Me no one knows.
- ТЕКСТ 26 :
- О Арджуна, как Верховная Личность Бога, Я знаю все, что происходило в прошлом, происходит сейчас и произойдет в будущем. Я также знаю всех живых существ, Меня же не знает никто.
- TEXT 27:
- O scion of Bharata, O conqueror of the foe, all living entities are born into delusion, bewildered by dualities arisen from desire and hate.
- ТЕКСТ 27 :
- О потомок Бхараты, о покоритель врагов, все живые существа, появляясь на свет, оказываются во власти иллюзорной двойственности, возникающей из желания и ненависти.
- TEXT 28:
- Persons who have acted piously in previous lives and in this life and whose sinful actions are completely eradicated are freed from the dualities of delusion, and they engage themselves in My service with determination.
- ТЕКСТ 28 :
- Кто совершал благочестивые поступки в этой и в прошлых жизнях и полностью отрекся от греха, тот выходит из-под власти иллюзорной двойственности и с решимостью посвящает себя служению Мне.
- TEXT 29:
- Intelligent persons who are endeavoring for liberation from old age and death take refuge in Me in devotional service. They are actually Brahman because they entirely know everything about transcendental activities.
- ТЕКСТ 29 :
- Такие разумные люди, стремящиеся освободиться из плена старости и смерти, находят прибежище во Мне и служат Мне с любовью. Они уже, по сути, Брахман, ибо в совершенстве познали законы духовной деятельности.
- TEXT 30:
- Those in full consciousness of Me, who know Me, the Supreme Lord, to be the governing principle of the material manifestation, of the demigods, and of all methods of sacrifice, can understand and know Me, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, even at the time of death.
- ТЕКСТ 30 :
- Те, кто всегда думает обо Мне и кто понял, что Я, Верховный Господь, — повелитель материального космоса, владыка всех полубогов и жертвоприношений, будут сознавать Меня, Верховную Личность Бога, даже на смертном одре.
